A beautiful Hopi pendant that features a traditional Mud Head and a stylistic flute player. It's maker was Hopi artist Bernard Dawahoya or Masaqueva (his Hopi name meaning Wings of the Sun). Renowned Hopi artist, best known for his use of heavy weight silver, bold and distinct designs and precise texturing. His work has been desired by collectors for decades. Bernard passed away in February 2010.

This wonderful pendant depicting a mud-head figure on one side and a flute player on the reverse measures 2 7/8" diameter, with a 1/2" bail. A wonderful handcrafted silver chain accompanies the pendant and measures 21" total length. Hallmarked on the bail with his Snow Cloud stamp.
