Joe Herrera Quintana (1915-1991) is considered by many to be
one of the true master silversmiths of the 20th century. Learning
metal work during WWII, after the war he returned to his home in the Cochiti Pueblo and began
his career in jewelry making. He apprenticed with well-known jeweler Frank
Patania and worked in a number of shops in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque NM.
This beautiful stamped design features a single high grade, turquoise stone. The beautiful handcrafted beads add the final touch to this lovely necklace. The perfect size for either a man or woman. A satin polish graces the entire piece, including the beads. The pendant measures 1 7/8" long x 3/4" wide. The handcrafted beads are 24" long. Hallmarked
