This gorgeous concho belt by Zuni artists Albert and Dolly Banteah has precise inlay work and beautiful stamp work on the silver concho's. Their work is considered some of the finest inlay in Zuni. They are best known for their detailed Red Cardinals, but did may other beautiful bird also. This lovely concho belt is a perfect example of their amazing work.
The central inlaid image is set in deep red coral, with jet and shell for the branch and leaf inlay. The very fine stamp work is just beautiful and is also on each of the silver links! Hallmarked ADB.
The buckle measures 2 3/4" diameter, with each of the 9 concho's measuring 2 1/4" diameter. The length is 37 1/4" long.
