Description

This beautifully crafted bracelet is not your common cluster bracelet. This amazing piece is quite heavy coin silver, with a wide shank. Navajo work. C: 1920's to early 30's. The bracelet is set with hand cut, beautifully aged turquoise from a mix of mines. Blue Gem and Cerrillos turquoise cabs are carefully placed in solid heavy bezels. Tiny silver rain drops grace the area between each stone and tiny twist wire circles each larger stone. Stamp work and a small ornament is placed on each side.

The cloth tag was attached when we acquired the bracelet. The writing is not easily read. You can see Charley Navajo Trade, using a picture frame glass. The tag label has a history of its own. Dennison MFG Company, founded in 1844 - 1990 and was the first to manufacture jewelry tags and jewelry boxes. This could have been used as an old pawn tag or an information tag.

The top of the bracelet (largest cluster) measures 1 1/8" wide, with each cluster measuring a bit different. The inside measurement is 5 7/8" with a 1 1/8" opening. The weight is 72.3 grams.
