Description
This bracelet, created by Juan De Dios has a simple, yet elegant design. Fourteen flat set turquoise stones are precisely placed for a lovely balance to the stamped, hand wrought silver cuff. There is also the C.G. Wallace code scratched onto the back of the bracelet, which dates it to the late 30's to early 40's. Juan also worked for John Kennedy, mentored Dan Simplicio and is mentioned in the Adair book (1941).
The bracelet is 1 3/8" across the top, with an inside measurement of 5 3/8" with a 1" opening.
Please visit our artist biographies page for more information on Juan Dedios.
The attribution to this unsigned piece comes both verbally and from strong design and stamping recognition, along with the personal history of the original collectors.
