Zuni artist Porfilio Sheyka was active from1960's until his death in 2001. He was best known for his figural channel inlay of animals and birds. He worked with his wife Ann on many pieces. This beautifully made Cougar bolo is set with turquoise, jet, yellow lip shell and coral. Parts of the figure are the distinct, slightly raised inlay design. The bolo measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/2" wide with 1 7/8" tips. The black braided leather with tips total length is 36" long.
