Not enough can be said about Cheyenne artist Ben Nighthorse.
His jewelry has earned him many awards across the Globe. He was born in 1933 and became a US Senator from 1993 to 2005. Both before and after his political career he was a well-respected artist. He has made jewelry for several US presidents as well as many actors. He is an exceptional craftsman
with a natural eye for design and beauty, always keeping in mind his
father's teachings.
This stunning reversable Bear pendant, is mosaic inlay, with beautiful spider webbed high grade turquoise on one side and then vivid purple Sugilite on the other side. Deep red coral eyes and the final touch to this piece. A soft satin finish on the silver. The bail is also inlaid with matching material.
The pendant measures 2 1/2" wide by 1 3.8" tall, with the bail and loop measuring 3/4" tall. The inside of the bail is 3/8" wide and 7/16" tall. Hallmarked under the body.
