Joe Herrera Quintana (1915-1991) is considered by many to be
one of the true master silversmiths of the 20th century. Learning
metal work during WWII, after the war he returned to his home in the Cochiti Pueblo and began
his career in jewelry making. He apprenticed with well-known jeweler Frank
Patania and worked in a number of shops in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque NM.
This beautiful design is surrounding a gorgeous turquoise stone. The perfect size for either a man or woman. A beautiful satin patina graces the entire piece. The pendant measures 3" long x 2 3/16" wide, including bail. The hand crafted link chain is 24" long. 67.6 grams. Hallmarked
