Sam Roanhorse
(1815-1983), younger brother and student of Ambrose Roanhorse. During his
career he worked for a number of business, such as Southwest Arts and Crafts,
White Hogan, Fred Wilson’s Indian TP and others. His style of work ranged from
traditional to modernistic, with the addition of his personal touch to each piece.
This lovely link, collar
necklace is a perfect example of his fine workmanship. It measures 16 ˝” long.
Each circular element is slightly domed and is just under 1” wide. The earrings measure 1" by 7/8" and are screw back. The earrings can be made into posts, upon request. An extension can be created upon request. This piece
is absolutely beautiful on! Hallmarked SR, the White Hogan mark and etched
sterling and handmade.
