Allen Pooyouma (Pooyama) was active from the late 1930's until 1990. Considered a Master Hopi Jeweler and worked with Ralph Tawangyaouma, his Uncle.

This rare and unusual looking Horse buckle shows the diverse talent in Allen's designs. A soft patina graces the entire buckle. There is some wear on the silver portion of the buckle, but all stones are secure. Set with a single turquoise stone and coral branch. There is something about this buckle that makes me smile. Hallmarked with Allens Corn Stalk.

It measures 3 1/2" long by 2 1/8" wide. Will fit a 1 5/8" belt or smaller.
