This beautiful 1900
classic squash blossom necklace offers early crafting of ingot silver. The
sound of the heavy beads and the feel of the silver are beyond compare. The
center piece is a beautiful carinated naja, with a single turquoise stone and
has wonderful hands at the end terminals. The blossoms appear to be variety of
blossoms, beads and thickness of ingot. The overall piece is in excellent
condition and was originally strung on very worn cloth string. It was restrung
by Trader John Hill. Published in the Paula Baxter book, NAVAJO and PUEBLO
JEWELRY DESIGN 1870-1945. Pg.150.
This amazing necklace is
smaller than some, measuring 24" total length, including the 2 1/8"
by 2 3/16" naja. Truly a gorgeous necklace on!
