Description

This stunning ring is just one piece from an amazing career of over 25 years that French-Moroccan born Eveli Sabatie created. C:1940 -. She is not Native American, but because of her history and close relationship to Master Hopi artist Charles Loloma, Eveli’s work is accepted by all and loved by many. Her 3 ½ years spent side by side learning, watching and fascinated by Charles’s work, she soon was creating masterpieces of her own. She retired from jewelry making in the late 90’s and now lives in Tucson Arizona. As she has stated, she is now giving back to people part of herself by teaching yoga to many that will benefit. Her life story is worth reading about in her new book. Eveli: A Jeweler’s Memoir.

This stunning ring sits 7/8" above finger level yet was designed to feel perfectly balanced and comfortable. A stunning turquoise stone with vivid blues is the center piece of this ring. An intricate silver design wraps this ring in beauty, with quality lapis and black jet inlayed around the base. 10 translucent moon stones of oval and round shapes light up the sides. Created in the 1970's. The perfectly placed silver band covers an inclusion on the stone and was placed there along the way, as Eveli has stated. The ring measures 2" long and is approx. 7/8" wide. 63.6 grams. The ring is a size 7. Hallmarked EVEli.
