Irving Toddy is Bit’aanii (Folded Arms). He is the son of Beatien Yazz, an internationally renowned artist from Wide Ruins, Arizona. Toddy currently lives in Pine Springs, Arizona with his wife Stella.
This beautiful oil painting on Masonite board, depicts Irving's memory of a pow wow he had attended in Seattle, Washington in 1989. He called it "Goodwill Games. He entered the painting at the Navajo Nation Fair in 1992 where it won Best In Show, The President's award Honorable Peterson Zah and First place. It is like a picture taken in oil paint, with just amazing dimensions and colors. It sight size is 23 1/2" x 23 3/8". The framed size is 28 1/2" x 28 1/2". The ribbon is included.
Irving has won numerous awards and honors at the Gallup Intertribal Indian Ceremonial Art; first, second, and third place awards at the Santa Fe Indian Market; and the Patrick Hinds Swazo Award for the most promising young artist. Toddy’s work can be found in museums across the country, as well as in numerous public and private collections.
