This lovely, petrified wood bracelet was created by Navajo artist Fred Peshlakai. Fred always chose materials that were of the highest quality for his jewelry. This wonderfully patterned stone is a perfect example.
The stone is set in a smooth bezel, then stamped side ornament and large silver repoussé are visible on the top. Amazing stamp work then graces the side terminals to the end. The quality of the craftsmanship along with the use of top
materials, heavy silver and a number of recognizable details gives you a beautiful Fred Peshlakai (1896-1972) bracelet. Hallmarked with his FP centered in his arrow.
The center portion is 1 1/4" wide, tapering to 1/2" at end terminals. The bracelet has an
inner circumference of 5 7/8”, with a 1 1/8” gap between terminals. Slightly adjustable. It is in excellent condition.
