This attractive ring is the work of well-know Hopi artist Morris Robinson.
This ring offers a more traditional design and shows the amazing abilities that Morris possessed as an artist. This lovely ring is set with a stunning, Natural turquoise stone and framed is a stamped and scalloped silver design.
The ring measures 1" x 3/4" wide. The size is a 5 /3/4. Size can be adjusted. The ring is hallmarked with Morris's snake and H. Excellent condition.
Morris Robinson (Talawytewa) was born at Oraibi. He began his career in Phoenix AZ in the early 1920's and continued his silversmithing, until retiring in 1963. He working at several different Indian Jewelry stores in Arizona, where his pieces became highly desired by collectors. He used his personally crafted stamps, creating intricate and amazing designs.
