Navajo Pearls are
entirely crafted by hand and are very time consuming and labor intensive,
therefore much more expensive than bench made beads. Bead making is most often
the result of a multigenerational family tradition. You will see this art carried
on for decades within the same family. Navajo pearls are so versatile, they can
be worn as is or with a pendant in the center and go with most everything you wear.
Fewer Navajos are making quality beads, so they are becoming rarer.
