This beautifully crafted Squash Blossom
necklace is hand crafted Navajo work. Circa: late 50's. It is a statement
necklace with finely stamped beads and a pretty naja with a turquoise stone. Very nice work!! The silver beads are handcrafted and a nice medium weight. The Naja has the same fine stamping that are on the beads, adding the final touch to this lovely necklace.
This necklace dated to the 1950's and does not have a maker's mark--being of a time when such things were not
commonly done. The necklace is strung on cotton string, which was used on many early squash blossom necklaces. It can be restrung by request.
The Naja measures 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/8" wide. The
beads measures 23 3/8" long.
