This heavy silver flask is beautifully worked, hand hammered
with deep stamp work. Well-known Navajo silversmith Michael Tsosie created this wonderful piece. Three natural Morenci turquoise stones are featured as the centerpiece on both sides and also on the top cap.
Often worn around the neck with a leather strap, the Navajos would fill the flask with Tobacco. Over the years the flasks have become more ornate as the trade increased with tourists. The flask measures 4 1/4" tall x 3" wide.
