These wonderful c:1890 earrings are Navajo work. The simple stamp work and tiny punched holes were seen on the early earrings. They look lovely on! Similar to the ones seen in the publication, Indian Silver Jewelry of the Southwest, by Larry Frank, pg.78.
They measure 1 1/2" diameter. A small loop was added along the way, so they could be worn with French wires. They would have been worn sideways and pinching the ear lobe during the early era.
