This lovely channel inlaid set is the rare work of Pueblo artist Julian Lovato. Julian was born on the Santo Domingo Pueblo in 1925. He began his jewelry career in 1938 and in 1948 became an apprentice of Frank Patania Sr. His work reflects both the austere pueblo design and the modernistic design. He rarely did inlay work, making this set quite collectable.
The beautiful blue turquoise is flat set and inlaid in a very attractive design. The earring are clip-ons and measure 1" in diameter. Can easily be converted to post, upon request. The pin measures 1 1/2" in diameter and can easily be worn as a pendant. Hallmarked J. Lovato, with his stylized eagle and sterling.
