The Navajo silversmith has created a casting with a woman's head at top with her hair tied back into a traditional bun. A lovely coral cab add the final touch to this unique letter opener. This lovely piece measures 4 1/2" long by 3/4"wide. Not hallmarked.
These type of pieces were very popular during the 60's into the boom of the 70's, as an addition to collections of non-jewelry items. Few silversmith made such items, making them rare and more collectible.
