Beautifully crafted this
reversible 14k gold pendant has elegance beyond compare. Hand fabricated by
renowned Hopi artist Verma Nequatewa, known as Sonwai. Fine mosaic inlay,
featuring the finest materials of Natural Turquoise, Mediterranean Salmon
Coral, Lapis Lazuli and Sugilite, with 14k gold channels. The pendant measures
2" long, including bail, by 1 1/8" wide. A lovely 22", braided
14k gold chain accompanies the pendant.
A career of over 40 years, Sonwai has lived on the edge of a rock on Third
Mesa, Hotevilla, Arizona. She is the niece of Charles Loloma and carries on
that legacy through her own creative designs. Her work is highly sought after,
by Galleries and collectors.
