This stunning ring is just one piece from an amazing career of over 25 years that French-Moroccan born Eveli Sabatie created. C:1940 -. She is not Native American, but because of her history and close relationship to Master Hopi artist Charles Loloma, Eveli’s work is accepted by all and loved by many. Her 3 ½ years spent side by side learning, watching and fascinated by Charles’s work, she soon was creating masterpieces of her own. She retired from jewelry making in the late 90’s and now lives in Tucson Arizona. As she has stated, she is now giving back to people part of herself by teaching yoga to many that will benefit. Her life story is worth reading about in her new book. Eveli: A Jeweler’s Memoir. This ring was part of an exhibit at the Wheelwright Museum for her show entitled “Eveli: Energy and Significance” that was held from June 12, 2016, to January 15, 2017. A picture of the ring from that show will be included with purchase.
