This beautifully
crafted bracelet is Navajo work. C: 1930's. The bracelet is set with
beautifully natural #8 spider webbed turquoise. This bracelet has some of the
finest silver work we have seen from this era. From tiny stamped silver rain
drops to very tiny twist wire circles each stone. Hand drawn wire and larger
stamped twist wire makes up the shank and side terminals. A deep patina graces the entire bracelet, making the silver work stand out along with the stones.
There is writing on
the back side stating Old #8 spider web, ca 1935. It is stamped HAND MADE
and Sterling.
The top of the bracelet center measures 1
1/2" wide, tapering to 5/8" on end terminals. The inside measurement
is 5 1/4" with a 1 1/8" opening. The weight is 76.9 grams.
