This beautiful 1970's Navajo Squash Blossom necklace was hand crafted by well-known silversmith Wilson Begay. Wilson often collaborated with his wife Carol. Their work is featured in both Schiffer and Wright publications.
Beautiful Natural, vivid blue turquoise cabs are set in smooth bezels and surrounded with twist wire. A wonderful fleur-de-lys silver design was used as the blossoms and in the naja. Quite pretty and unique. The naja measures 2 3/4" wide by 2 1/4" tall. Nicely finished silver bead also. The total length including naja is 29". The piece is signed with Wilson's hat hallmark and initials. A very beautiful necklace! This is from the Judy Edmunds of Yarmouth, Mass collection.
