This outstanding buckle and bolo were hand created and signed by Navajo, master silversmith Cecil Ashley and are set with gem-grade, red matrix natural Morenci turquoise. These two pieces show the quality of material and workmanship Cecil uses in his one of a kind collectable designs. Cecil worked for the Brown family in the mid-80's and had access to top grade Morenci turquoise, which he used to create many beautiful jewelry pieces for our shop. This being one example of his work. The Morenci stone in the bolo measures 3/4" wide by 1" long and the stone in the buckle measures 1" wide by 1 1/8" long, both stones are set in hand stamped bezels and placed in a shadowbox frame, surrounded with fine line stamping and a heavy hand cut and stamped outer frame. The bolo measures 2" wide by 2 7/8" long with stamped silver tips. The buckle measures 2 5/8" wide by 3 3/8" long and fit a 1 1/2" belt.
